CommsProvider offer IP Telephony services, broadband, Wifi networks, Video surveillance, fixed line and mobile phone contracts for business clients across the UK.

We require an individual who has relevant experience within a comms & ICT environment,  as a minimum you must demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical support. This includes IT Networking, SIP and PBX maintenance/installation.

Working with the support team the ideal candidate will have a flexible approach and see the variety and potential of this role as an exciting challenge and one where they can truly develop and reach their full potential.

The primary responsibilities of this role consist of:

  • Supporting clients remotely and on customer premises
  • Installation and maintenance of IP based PBX’s on customers premises
  • Diagnosing network /ADSL/FTTC/Ethernet issues
  • Liaising with vendors/manufacturers to support customers and resolve faults
  • Liaise with sales regarding pre/post sales configuration of networks ect.
  • Planning/installing/maintaining WIFI networks.
  • Planning/installing/maintaining video surveillance technology

Skills Required

  • Previous  experience providing technical support in a Telecoms/IT environment
  • Knowledge of IP networks, switches & routers 
  • Samsung OfficeServe / Panasonic / 3CX Certification advantageous
  • ADSL / FTTC / Leased Lines knowledge
  • Infrastructure installation/maintenance skills on CAT5/6 & CW1308 networks
  • SIP/IPDC Faults, config & packet tracing
  • WiFi Access points config/faults and Router config/faults
  • Full UK driving license required
  • Starting salary negotiable based on experience
